On a wet day we got ready and went to forest school. We had to find sticks about the size of our arm. We learnt to whittle them to make a pointy end. We also had fun making dens with long branches, digging deep holes in the mud pit and climbing as high as we could.
Continuing our adventurer project Year 1 and 2 pupils made fishing rods, catapults and bows and arrows. We used lots of mathematical measuring skills and learnt how to use tools safely.
I do hope they children have shown their tools to you and used them sensibly!
